Dosing varies from 12mg/kg, 15mg/kg, and 20mg/kg twice per day based on the weight of the cat and the type of FIP: Effusive (wet), Non-Effusive (dry), Neurological, or Ocular. These dosage recommendations are based on two clinical studies (Roy, Et al.) & (Okihiro Sase) and represent a general approach. The specific dose given should be based on your Veterinarian’s recommendation as well as the animals age, medical history and current health status. Regular blood screening should performed (preferably at 21 day intervals) to further evaluate the animals response to treatment and to modify it’s specific treatment regiment.
